Kossma's Calendula Rose Hydrosol – a mystical mist that blends the time honored wisdom of calendula and rose blossoms to hydrate, heal and beautify your skin. Every summer, we harvest organic calendula and rose flowers exclusively grown for us in the Pacific Northwest. Our fresh handpicked flowers are immediately distilled using traditional copper alembic stills capturing the water soluble constituents of these beautiful flowers. All this goodness is then bottled up – just for you!

Mist onto skin after cleansing until damp and then apply one of our balms or oils on top. The balm or oil traps the hydrosol into your skin preventing it from evaporating while emulsifying with the hydrosol to drive the benefits further into the skin. The treatment deeply hydrates and moisturizes all at once!

The magic in Kossma hydrosols
Our hydrosols are meticulously crafted using a unique steam distillation technique that delicately extracts the potent healing properties and cellular water of plants. These hydrosols offer a stunning alternative to essential oils, which we don’t use because of their allergenic or irritating properties for certain skin types and conditions. We work closely with expert botanical distillers who carefully tend to fresh, whole plants cultivated exclusively for our use. Within two weeks of harvesting, these plants undergo steam distillation in traditional copper stills, preserving their therapeutic components. Our devotion to using fresh plants and traditional distillation methods ensures that each bottle of Kossma hydrosol captures the essence and magic of every plant.
