Following your cleansing routine, mist your face with the hydrosol until it becomes damp. While your skin remains moist, apply oils or serums to lock in the marshmallow malva essence from the hydrosol, resulting in a profound and lasting hydration effect.

Hydrosols capture the water-soluble constituents of plants, providing your skin with both these beneficial constituents and essential hydration. When you pair a hydrosol with one of our balms or oils, the oils act as emulsifiers, preventing evaporation from the hydrosol and ensuring that the nutrients from both the balm or oil and the hydrosol penetrate deep into your skin. This combination delivers both moisture and hydration for your skin's health and beauty.
Marshmallow Hydrosol is perfectly complemented by our selection of Tallow Beauty Balm, Squalane, or other exquisite oils and balms. This combination enhances moisturization through emulsification, boosting skin hydration. The hydrosol's anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties synergize with the unique benefits of each oil, optimizing skin absorption and maximizing their nurturing effects.
The magic in Kossma hydrosols
Our hydrosols are meticulously crafted using a unique steam distillation technique that delicately extracts the potent healing properties and cellular water of plants. These hydrosols offer a stunning alternative to essential oils, which we don’t use because of their allergenic or irritating properties for certain skin types and conditions. We work closely with expert botanical distillers who carefully tend to fresh, whole plants cultivated exclusively for our use. Within two weeks of harvesting, these plants undergo steam distillation in traditional copper stills, preserving their therapeutic components. Our devotion to using fresh plants and traditional distillation methods ensures that each bottle of Kossma hydrosol captures the essence and magic of every plant.
