Regenerative Practices
Our commitment to regenerative sustainability is ingrained in our ethical values which shape our sourcing decisions and manufacturing practices.
What is Regenerative Farming | Regenerative agriculture is a conservation and rehabilitation approach to farming that focuses on topsoil regeneration, increasing biodiversity, improving the water cycle, enhancing the ecosystem supporting biosequestration, increasing resilience to climate change, and strengthening the health and vitality of farm soil.
Why is it important | Factory farms and big agriculture have taken over the American farming system. Local farms are becoming more difficult to run and hard to find. Large scale agriculture favors mono-crop agriculture, which creates unnatural ecosystems, and can only thrive under the use of aggressive hormones, pesticides, and other chemicals that harm not only the topsoil, but our bodies, and the environment.
Environmental Impact | We carefully assess suppliers' efforts to minimize their environmental impact, reduce carbon emissions, and treat their animals and land with the delicate care they deserve.
We believe that our bodies and our ecosystems are vitally connected, and in order to respect and preserve the biodiversity of both, we must prioritize farming and consumption methods that closely mimic nature's intentions.
